Most coffee shops treat chocolate as an afterthought—a sweet, powdered add-on. At 64Beans, we reverse the paradigm. We are a specialty café built on a 70/30 philosophy: exploring the deep, nuanced personalities of single-origin cacao while honoring the daily routine of a perfectly pulled espresso shot.

The Sanctuary Concept

Inspired by the intentional acts of daily life, our space is designed as a sanctuary. We bridge the gap between affordable everyday luxury and meticulous artisanal craft, changing the perception of chocolate from an occasional indulgence into a soulful daily ritual.

Why 64Beans?

The name is built around a simple belief: exceptional flavour begins with balance.

Our signature cacao is crafted around 64% cocoa—rich, smooth and deeply satisfying, with enough intensity to celebrate real chocolate without the bitterness that often comes with darker blends.

Cacao meets Coffee — The birth of the "Choffy Shop".

Coffee is equally central to our craft, and fittingly, around 64 coffee beans are used to create a single espresso shot. It became the perfect meeting point between two remarkable beans—cacao and coffee—and the inspiration behind our signature idea of the “Choffy Shop.”

More than just a number — Born from roots and rhythm.

It reflects the year our founder was born, carries a touch of British nostalgia through The Beatles’ When I’m Sixty-Four, and represents a journey that began in Seminyak, Bali, where our first café proudly showcases Indonesian cacao alongside world-class coffee.

Founded by a British-Indonesian husband-and-wife team, 64Beans celebrates the meeting of cultures, craftsmanship and community. Our ambition is to create welcoming neighbourhood cafés that people return to again and again, while introducing a new category of premium cacao and coffee experiences to the world—one thoughtfully crafted cup at a time.
